Since its founding in 2022, the East Coast International Track & Field Showcase (ECIS) has evolved into a premier youth sporting event, bringing together outstanding high school, middle school, and youth athletes from across the United States, the Caribbean, and the international track and field community.
Founded by three-time Jamaican Olympian and Olympic silver medalist Sanjay Ayre, and produced by 2 Eagle Sports & Entertainment, the Showcase was created with a vision: to provide exceptional young athletes with access to world-class competition, collegiate recruitment opportunities, mentorship, and life-changing experiences, regardless of socioeconomic background.
Today, ECIS represents a powerful intersection of athletic excellence, youth development, education, international cultural exchange, and economic opportunity.

The East Coast International Showcase has experienced remarkable development since its inaugural competition.
The inaugural Showcase welcomed just over 500 athletes, introducing a new platform for international youth competition and collegiate recruitment exposure.
The second annual event strengthened the Showcase’s competitive foundation, expanded its network of participating schools and athletic clubs, and continued building relationships within the track and field community.
By its third edition, the event had grown to more than 1,200 athletes, attracting leading competitors from the United States and Jamaica. Standout performances included Quincy Wilson’s 45.17-second 400-meter race, which MileSplit reported as No. 8 on the all-time high school leaderboard at the time.
The Showcase moved to Hughes Memorial Stadium at Morgan State University, providing a new stage for elite international competition. The event attracted more than 5,000 spectators, according to published reporting, and featured outstanding performances from American and Jamaican athletes.
The fifth annual Showcase further developed its international competitive program and community partnerships. The event featured nationally ranked athletes, record-setting performances, and competitors representing the United States, Jamaica, Canada, and other participating nations.
